An expert that has travelled the destination, walked the trail, stayed in the hotels will give you all the details you need for that particular destination. Information evenings are held in our office at Level 1, Scout Outdoor Centre, 192 Rundle Street Adelaide at 6pm. The evenings are offered free however we do ask that you register your attendance. When should I make a booking? As soon as you know your destination, it is never too early to book. During traditional busy periods (Christmas, New Years, Easter) it is always recommended to book early. If you are booking a tour to a location such as the polar region you will want to book early to get the dates and cabins your are after. Tours with limited numbers sell up well in advance. If you are a booking a tour that will be physically demanding, such as a Kokoda Trek or trip to Everest Base Camp, you will want to book in plenty of time to allow yourself time to train appropriately for your adventure.
Many tours and airlines offer great early bird discounts. This is a great opportunity to stretch your travel dollar by getting in early and locking in your travel plans at great discounted prices.
Where can I park? There are a number of parking options near the office.
If you need to go to target - we suggest the target centre car park. The entrance is off Rundle Street - you must be heading east on Rundle Street to enter this car park. If you purchase an item over $5.50 from Target, your first hour is free when you have your ticket validated.
If you are heading in the other direction, you may park in the U Park on Rundle Street located just west of Brunelli cafe. This car park charges $6 for up to 3 hours and is very conveniently located.
If you are coming to one of our information evenings, you may like to try for a street park on Frome street.
