Cruise from Split to Dubrovnik via the islands of Croatia’s Adriatic Coast. We will visit the main sites and some of the more out of the way locations as we cruise on our small ship. You are left free to explore the restaurants of the towns we stay in each night and we provide walking tours to show you the highlights of the towns.

Intention of this cruise is to show beauty of our islands and thousand year old cities and their rich history, to present our lifestyle and heritage that we want to offer to our children as a gift. The Itinerary is carefully prepared in order to give you right enough time to experience current history, sufficient time to undertake your own explorations of medieval towns and islands (Split, Brač, Hvar, Korčula, Dubrovnik etc.) and have time for sightseeing, wine tastings, enjoy island’s dinner at cosy restaurants….

Itinerary



Day 1 - Day 1.Split
You will be transferred from Split’s airport or your Split hotel to harbour, where embarkation begins at 13:00h. Get settled in your cabin before attending a Welcome reception followed by dinner this evening. (WR,D)
Day 2 - Day 2. SPLIT – BOL – HVAR, Sunday (B,L)
Morning guided walking tour of Split shows us the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. Set sail towards Bol, a small town on Island Brač, for a swim at the Golden Horn. Enjoy the 530 m. long golden pebble beach, said to be the best in Croatia. It is unique in that it changes shape and position depending on the winds. Afterwards head to Hvar, one of the most popular islands in the Adriatic. A sightseeing tour of Hvar town shows you the first public theatre in Europe and many more historical sites. Spend evening and night in Hvar.Note: Due to the limited capacity of the Hvar harbour (during peak season in July and August) port of call can be substituted for Stari Grad/Jelsa. In that case transfer by bus will be organized to and from Hvar. (B,L)
Day 3 - DAY 3. HVAR – BIŠEVO - VIS
Leaving Hvar, we will have an early morning cruise towards Biševo island to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. As sometimes weather conditions can be very unpredictable, the possibility of our visit will depend on those conditions, however you will be notified of this on time. Continue to the island of Vis, once a strategic naval Yugoslav base and closed to the public. If interested, visit the remains of the Roman thermal place, City museum or simply take a walk enjoying the views of the beautiful Villae Rusticae situated along the waterfront. Day 4 - DAY 4. VIS - KORČULA
While enjoying breakfast overlooking the blue waters of Adriatic, we continue our cruise towards the Korčula island best known as the birthplace of Marco Polo. Stop for lunch in one of the secluded bays en route. Afternoon arrival in Korčula followed by a guided walking tour of one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean. Korčula has an abundant choiceof restaurants to enjoy your gourmet experience and there are numerous bars and clubs for those looking for evening entertainment. Overnight in Korčula. (B,L)
Day 5 - DAY 5. KORČULA – MLJET
In the morning head further south to the Island of Mljet. Join the Cruise Manager for a stroll to the famous salt lakes in the Mljet National Park and enjoy the boat ride to the St Mary Isle to visit an ancient Benedictine monastery, an old abbey and a Church dating back to the 12th Century. Alternatively, you can rent bicycles, scooters or kayaks to explore the National Park or island on your own. Tonight, enjoy Captain’s dinner and overnight in port of Pomena. (B,L,CD)
Day 6 - DAY 6. MLJET – SLANO
Morning departure for a small village called Slano on the mainland, a peaceful fishermen’s village and the starting point to Ston, another once fortified small village famous for its oysters. After exploring the town’s medieval ramparts, a short coastal walk leads us to an oyster farm to learn more about oysters and tasting this delicious treat. Dinner and overnight on board in Slano.(B,T,D - Oyster tasting)
Day 7 - DAY 7. SLANO – ELAPHITI ISLANDS – DUBROVNIK
Early morning cruise to Elaphiti islands with swimming stop on one of the secluded bays to spend the morning. Before lunch sail to Dubrovnik, before we moor at Gruž port we cruise alongside the old city walls, while lunch is served. After docking join a guided tour with panoramic ride and transfer included. You will visit the Franciscan Monastery with Europe’s third oldest pharmacy, the Rector’s Palace and the Cathedral. Enjoy the last night of cruise exploring the magnificent town of Dubrovnik on your own. (B,L)
Day 8 - DAY 8. SATURDAY DUBROVNIK
After breakfast it’s time to disembark. You will be transferred to Dubrovnik airport or your Dubrovnik hotel (B)
