Day 1 - Day 1 Benoa/Bali/Indonesia, departure 23.00 hrs

Day 2 - Day 2 Gili Islands/Indonesia
The Gili Islands lie in the crystal-clear water of the Java Sea like little emeralds. Indonesia’s idylls, which only seem to belong to you when your expedition ship anchors here. The Zodiacs will take you ashore. Just a few metres above sea level, the islands invite you to go swimming and snorkelling. With a little luck, you will see sea turtles, which are protected there. Unwind on a relaxing shore visit.
Day 3 - Day 3 Komodo/Indonesia
In the heart of the Indonesian archipelago lies the Komodo National Park – an impressive UNESCO World Heritage Site stretching between the islands of Sumbawa and Flores. Here there are 29 volcanic islands, the largest of which are Komodo, Rinca and Padar. The park is famous for being home to the legendary Komodo dragons, the largest lizards in the world, which roam majestically through the savannahs and tropical forests. The underwater world here is also fascinating: the crystal-clear waters are home to a rare, still extensively undiscovered marine biodiversity, with colourful coral reefs and exotic sea creatures.
Day 4 - Days 4 - 5 South-East Sulawesi/Indonesia  (Pulau Buton, Pulau Kokoila)
Pulau Buton boasts impressive coral limestone coasts and bizarre rock formations. If the local conditions permit, explore the waters off the island by Zodiac. Traditionally, the inhabitants here make their living from growing sugar cane, tobacco, coffee and sago as well as from teak logging. Your experts have more information to share and are happy to answer any questions you may have.Dense rainforests, steep cliffs and hidden lagoons characterise the island of Pulau Kokoila, whose emerald-green waters are a sight to behold. Explore the island on foot along mysterious paths, passing exotic birds and wild orchids – an incomparable nature experience for adventurers: secluded, rugged and magical at the same time.
Day 5 - Day 6 Pulau Banggai/Central Sulawesi/Indonesia
The coral reefs of Pulau Banggai are home to the native cardinal fish. Off the beaten tourist track, the island has retained its beauty almost entirely for itself: pristine sandy white beaches, coconut trees and a fascinating underwater world. It is practically mandatory to make use of the snorkelling equipment while in this area.
Day 6 - Day 7 Bitung/Sulawesi/Indonesia, 09.00 – 16.00 hrs
The port city of Bitung is the starting point for exciting excursions* where you can explore the flora and fauna in depth. Tarsiers, hundreds of bird species as well as dwarf buffalo, deer, macaques and flying foxes are native to the surrounding regions. The route there is lined with traditional villages and nutmeg and coconut plantations.

Day 8 - Day 9 Sandakan/Borneo/Malaysia, 10.00 – 19.00 hrs
Sandakan is full of multicultural contrasts along the north-eastern coast of Sabah in Malaysia. Colonial-style buildings, mosques, Christian churches and Chinese temples characterise the cityscape. Stroll through lively markets, sample local specialities such as fresh seafood – and immerse yourself in the history of the city, which was once an important trading centre. You can also look forward to close encounters with exotic wildlife. Borneo is best known for its orangutans, which you can observe on excursions*. Sandakan uniquely combines colonial history and fascinating nature experiences – a place that arouses curiosity and leaves a lasting impression.

Day 11 - Day 12 Parepare/Sulawesi/Indonesia, 07.00 – 20.00 hrs
The port of Parepare is located on the west coast of Sulawesi, directly on the Makassar Strait, an important sea route connecting the Celebes Sea with the Java Sea. The elongated coastal town serves as a pleasant starting point for excursions* into the varied interior of the island. Visitors experience an impressive blend of nature, vibrant culture and the special hospitality of the people. The traditional highlands, which have been able to preserve many of their original customs due to their remote location, lie behind Parepare. Particularly well known are the villages of the Toraja people, which are still built in the traditional style today and whose culture is shaped by ancient myths, rituals and impressive ceremonies.
Day 12 - Day 13 Sabalana Islands/Indonesia
Crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches and the soothing tranquillity of a true natural paradise – the Sabalana Islands are a place to pause, explore and enjoy, far away from everyday life. The archipelago offers an impressive variety: white sandy beaches, hidden coves, lush vegetation and colourful coral reefs that are ideal for snorkelling and diving. Here you can experience the rhythms of nature up close: whether strolling along the coast, swimming in turquoise waters or observing the local wildlife, every moment brings a sense of peace and tranquillity.
