Description
From sea to sea, or from continent to continent, we welcome you aboard our ships for a Sea Journey. A few times a year we invite sea lovers, dreamers, and keen observers of endless horizons to join our non-stop journeys, to enjoy the comfort of our ships for an extended period and share the daily lives of our crew.
For this 23-day transatlantic cruise aboard Le Ponant, you will set sail from Santiago de Cuba, capital of the province of the same name. The country’s second city, its historic district is still imprinted with the past and boasts some beautiful colonial buildings.
After a few days at sea, you will call at Saint George’s in the Bermuda Islands, and can take the time to visit this authentic and picturesque city founded in 1612, its fortifications listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site
Your yacht will then chart a course east to reach the Portuguese town of Ponta Delgada, capital of the Azores. Lying on the south side of the island of São Miguel, this lively city is home to beautiful churches as well as buildings dating from the 17th and 18th centuries.
During the days before you disembark in Nice, you can relax on the sundeck, admire the waves from the Observatory, share the daily life of the crew, discover sailing techniques and instruments, and enjoy a break from the hectic pace of life.
