The expedition commences with 3 nights in Tahiti before cruising to Pitcairn to spend 4 nights on Pitcairn Island with the descendants of the HMS Bounty before navigating between Pitcairn’s secluded islands for the next 11 days. Whilst on Pitcairn Island, be consumed by a living history and dine with the entire country! Participate in a community fishing trip (weather dependent) and star gaze at midnight in the world’s newest recognised International Dark Sky Sanctuary.
Protected by the world’s third largest marine reserve and also home to one of the world’s most pristine oceans, explore Ducie and Oeno, two rarely visited coral atolls for access to some of the planets most intact, natural reef systems. For those fascinated by the mechanism of natural selection or survival of the fittest, the UNESCO listed island of Henderson is for you. Home to endemic flora, fauna and evolution, Henderson Island has peaked scientists curiosity for years. Now a select group of travellers will have the rare privileged to spend time on its shores.
Flanked by the emerald and sapphire hues of Tahiti, this expedition is a life-altering voyage as you explore where only a handful have ventured before you.
