Each of the islands you explore, through guided walks or by sea from the comfort of the zodiacs, will give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in this pristine and unique environment. A haven for numerous species of albatross, fur seal, sea lions, giant petrels with many species endemic to the area.
You will discover the enigmatic Macquarie Island- This island with its unique geology, rich history and abundance of wildlife will take your breath away. Beaches with thousands of King penguins and the endemic Royal penguins and hundreds of Elephant seals-you will be captivated.
Before disembarking in Dunedin, you will sail to the heart of the uninhabited Fiords, carved 20,000 years ago by glaciers. Visit Dusky Sound, Doubtful Sound and the famous Milford Sound. You may also see New Zealand Fur Seals or the resident pod of Bottlenose dolphins.
