Description

Corfu has been well known for mny years, but there are also some hidden gems in this part of the Ionian.
The Ionian Islands are made up of the 7 main islands and several other smaller islands, which are famed for their lush Mediterranean vegetation and pristine beaches.

Come with us as we spend a week at sea, exploring small ports, bays and villages. We depart from Corfu and will explore Sivota, Parga, Antipaxos, Gaios and Lakka. Along the way, we will discover amazing islands, deserted beaches, crystal clear waters, and hidden lagoons. These are ours to explore and enjoy through the week as we swim, snorkel and revel in the natural beauty of the Ionian islands.

We will eat ashore most nights so we can explore the towns and ports where we moor, the local cuisine and wines.

Overview
Vessel Type: Motor Sailer Yacht Length: 33 metres Passenger Capacity: 25 Built: 1999 EROS is able to accommodate up to 25 people on board offering double and triple en suite fully air conditioned cabins, in order to make sure that you will enjoy the perfect cruise with us! This astonishing yacht offers a spacious outdoor dining area surrounded by comfortable and cozy cushions for you and your friends to enjoy group meals, lazy laid back nights or happy summer moments. At the front part of EROS, there is a huge sun deck for ladies ( and gents!) to sun bath and relax endlessly, a lush comfortable sofa and a wide open deck to make you feel safe and welcome. As we move inside, there is a stylish sitting lounge area where you are able to mingle with rest of the group, play fun games or read a book from our library. In the same area the bar is waving at you, in order to enjoy your drinks while on board your private deck. EROS, offers 3G wifi on board for its guests and is fully crewed in order to make sure that you will feel home away from home. Her English speaking crew will make sure that all your needs will come true!

Itinerary



Day 1 - Day 1 Corfu-Kasiopi
Arrival Day. We embark at Naok marina or Old Port ( subject to availability ) where there plenty of tavernas. You will see plenty of evidence of Corfu’s colonial heritage. The UNESCO listed old town of Kerkyra is an absolute charmer and perfect for exploring before your trip, with winding cobbled streets, ancient stone walls and pastel windows shutters. Get comfortable as we cruise towards Kasiopi and have dinner at sea. We spend the first night at Kasiopi (Occasionally if passengers are arriving late we will spend the first night in Corfu and sail the next morning).
Day 2 - Day 2 Sivota - Mourtos
The Ionian islands are the greenest of the Greek Islands, so forget the typically rugged, rocky shores of Greece. The Ionian will surprise you with lush forests, verdant green hills packed with olive groves, crystal clear waters and sparkling white beaches. Hidden amongst the Sivota Islands the 'Blue Lagoon' is a highlight where we will take lunch where part of the 1980 film was shot. We spend the night moored in Sivota village with the west facing main village offering an idyllic tavern-lined promenade and a stunning sunset.
Day 3 - Day 3 Parga
Parga has been described as the most beautiful village in the Ionian, with two crystal clear bays either side of the main town and a Venetian castle forming an impressive backdrop. With plenty of beach bars and water sports to enjoy in the large bay west of town this is the ideal spot to laze away the afternoon, before grabbing a water taxi to town for a Greek feast and some traditional hospitality we will have lunch onboard!NB - Water taxi is not included in the price package, but if the vessel manages to dock in port you will not need a water taxi
Day 4 - Day 4 Antipaxos
A true hidden gem, the tiny island of Antipaxos is a very photogenic destination. Explore Voutoumi and Vrika beaches and snorkel in the clear waters. Dine at a pop up beach tavern in a secluded bay tucked away from the crowds and admire the sparkling night sky from the deck of your yacht.
Day 5 - Day 5 Gaios - Paxos
Until recently Paxos was the best known for its excellent olive oil, said to be one of the top varieties in the world! Take in the lush green countryside of this tiny island by renting a motorcycle and heading to a secluded cove after having lunch onboard for an afternoon of sunbathing and swimmin , before heading back to town for the freshest seafood at one of the excellent local tavernas stocked by the local fishing boats in the harbour.
Day 6 - Day 6 Lakka - Paxos
Studded with secluded bays and sea caves, this part of Paxos island is an explorer’s dream. After lunch onboard we head towards Lakka, a small but vibrant village on the northern tip of Paxos, with the shallow waters known as diving hotspot for those keen to discover the underwater marvels of the Ionian Sea. With a host of bars and tavernas lining the seafront Lakka is the epitome of old school Greek charm! We will spend the night at a nice bay in Lakka.NB - The vessel cannot dock in the marina in this area.
Day 7 - Day 7 Corfu
We arrive back to Naok Marina mid-afternoon, but first we will visit Benitses beach while having lunch onboard. You can join a guided walk of Corfu old town from our marina, head to the old venetian fortress for a bird’s eye view of the city, or if you have a few more hours to kill, go hunting for souvenirs, museums and churches in the maze of narrow cobbled streets. Overnight and Captains’s dinner.
Day 8 - Day 8 Departure day
Disembark.

This decision will be made solely at your captain’s discretion, based on the safety of the group and the ship.When arranging your transportation, such as flights, please take into consideration these time restrictions for joining and departing from your group.
