Islands of New England (Grande Caribe)

Islands of New England (Grande Caribe)

From USD $2,059

Description

How could anything be more delightful than hopscotching your way across the islands of Rhode Island and Massachusetts in summer? New England is pretty in any season, but imagine seeing its full blossoming glory from the deck of our cruise ship as we set sail out of Narragansett Bay from our home base in Warren, RI.

You’ll experience 7 unforgettable days that take you to storybook villages on Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, to the cozy beauty and pristine beaches of Block Island, and to tiny Cuttyhunk, just a dot of an island off Cape Cod with fewer than 100 year-round residents.

You’ll visit Newport, RI, where you can shop, stroll or choose from optional excursions like sailing on an America’s Cup boat, or touring its famous mansions. We’ll also take you to historic New Bedford, MA, once a premier whaling port, now the scalloping capital of the world.

From our ship, you’ll see rocky cliffs that seem to plunge into the surf, as well as brave lighthouses that stand ready to warn to sailors of the perils of the sea. And, of course, at every port, you will find exquisitely delicious New England seafood. Lobster, scallops, fried clams and authentic New England clam chowder—it doesn’t get any better than this! Welcome aboard!
