Day 1 - DAY 1 Boston, MA
Board your cruise today at noon and explore historic Boston before having dinner onboard the ship. Delve into the rich history of this city and learn about some of the most remarkable and notable stories and artifacts in Massachusetts history.
Day 2 - DAY 2 Bath, ME
Welcome to the “City of the Ships” - Bath, ME. Located on the west bank of the Kennebec River, Bath remains a major player in the naval shipbuilding industry today. Discover the Maine Maritime Museum and experience over 400 years of shipbuilding heritage and culture. See 19th century brick buildings while exploring shops and restaurants downtown.
Day 3 - DAY 3 Rockland, ME
Explore the Midcoast and rocky shoreline of Rockland, ME. At noon arrive in Rockland, which has 14 houses on the National Historic Registry. Get a scenic view of the Rockland Harbor and Penobscot Bay and spot lobster boats in the water at the top of the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse. Be sure to visit the Maine Lighthouse Museum, one of the largest lighthouse museum’s of lenses and maritime artifacts.
Day 4 - DAY 4 Eastport, ME
Nestled between Cobscook Bay and Passamaquoddy Bay, arrive in Eastport, ME around noon. The surrounding waters are filled with a variety of aquatic life; don’t be surprised if you see seals in the water or eagles soaring above. Tour the last stone mustard mill in America at Raye's Mustard Mill and be sure to visit the Moose Island Bakery for a fudge brownie or baked goods before tomorrow's departure.
Day 5 - DAY 5 Saint Andrews by the Sea, NB
See whales, explore with a naturalist, play golf at a world class course. Welcome to the legendary charm of seaside Saint Andrews, New Brunswick. Known for its old-world ambiance and colonial heritage, Saint Andrews is also notorious for the latest marine research which you can discover at the Saint Andrews Biological Station or Huntsman Marine Aquarium. Spectacular walking trails, scenic beaches and lively water sports offer fun ways to get to know this area better. Stroll through the award winning Kingsbrae Horticultural Garden to see thousands of flower and tree species. Later, enjoy the local arts and craft stores, galleries and museums that line Water Street, adjacent to the scenic Bay.
Day 6 - DAY 6 Grande Manan, NB
Explore the largest of the Fundy Islands, Grand Manan. Walk or bike marked shoreline and cliffside hiking trails or tour the iconic Swallow Tail Lighthouse, recognized as a Federal Historic Building. Take a seat on a lighthouse bench and see if you can spot any whales or seabirds in the distance. Depart from Grand Manan at 4 p.m. and spend the rest of the night back in Eastport, Maine.
Day 7 - DAY 7 Bar Harbor, ME
Before the 1947 fire, some of America’s most affluent families owned summer homes in Bar Harbor. The properties of some of these notable individuals - from the Rockefellers to the Vanderbilts - still exist throughout town. If you are up for an adventure, take a trip to Acadia National Park for a scenic view atop the tallest mountain on the U.S. Atlantic Coast.
Day 8 - DAY 8 Portland, ME
Arrive at noon in Portland, the largest city in Maine. Soak up the sea breeze and explore local shops, as you watch fishermen bring in the catch of the day. Enjoy a picturesque view of the Portland Harbor inside the Portland Head Light, the oldest lighthouse in Maine. If you like oysters, try a few at the Eventide Oyster Co., who offers 16 different kinds.
Day 9 - DAY 9 Boston, MA
Cruise back to Boston this afternoon and take a historical tour of this vibrant city. Explore the Freedom Trail in downtown Boston, where every path leads to a different historically significant site location. Learn more about Boston’s role in the American Revolution, while visiting museums, significant meetinghouses, and burial grounds.
Day 10 - DAY 10 Boston, MA
Disembark this morning in Boston.
