Description

There aren’t many places on Earth where hawks-bill turtles feel so unthreatened that they come ashore in broad daylight to lay their eggs. These exotic Gallic outposts were made for exploring by sea, with BBQ breaks on deserted islands, every-day swimming stops, and walking tours through the lush interiors. Scattered across the Indian Ocean, some 1,000 miles east of Kenya, these 115 islands offer everything from unsurpassed white sandy beaches to UNESCO Heritage Sites and incredible wildlife.

Overview
Vessel Type: Small Ship Length: 45 metres Passenger Capacity: 44 (in 21 cabins) Built / refurbished: 1992 / 1997 / 2016 Pegasos is a 45-metre, double-hulled yacht built to full SOLAS standards and engineered for slow, steady exploration at 10 knots. The ship’s scale keeps the atmosphere quiet and unforced, with wood-toned lounges, panoramic windows and wide open-air spaces defining the experience. Interior areas include a main-deck lounge with bar, an enclosed dining room for single-seating service, and an aft outdoor dining space for al fresco meals when weather allows. The sun deck spans the ship’s length and carries loungers, shaded sections and an outdoor bar, supported by a stern swimming platform, snorkelling equipment and kayaks. The design centres on uninterrupted views, informal movement between spaces and a yacht-style environment suited to long stays in the Seychelles. Accommodation is entirely ocean-facing across 21 cabins in Categories C, B, A and P on the Sun, Upper and Main decks. All cabins offer windows, en-suite bathrooms and individually controlled air-conditioning, alongside flat-screen TVs, internal-use telephones, piped music, mini-fridges or mini-safes, hairdryers and 220V adapters. Category C sits on the Sun Deck; Categories B and A span Main, Upper and Sun decks with larger windows; Category P offers Main Deck double-bedded cabins. A crew of 16–18 maintains the ship’s “home at sea” ethos, supported by amenities such as a mini-spa suite, small library, board games and beach equipment.
