Description
With Athens as the departure point, set sail aboard Le Bougainville for a cruise between Greece and Italy.
This all-new itinerary is 8 days long and will enable you to discover the marvels of the Mediterranean.
You will make a port of call at Delos, a minuscule island in the Cyclades archipelago. According to mythology, Apollo was born here. Like an open-air museum, Delos offers unique testimony of the civilisations that followed one another in the Aegean world.
Next comes Mykonos, with its iconic windmills, beaches, countless churches and whitewashed houses.
Your voyage will continue to Reggio de Calabre, the capital of Calabria and the scene for an all-new port of call, between ruins and legends. With a rich historical and cultural heritage, the city has many traces of its Greek, Roman and Byzantine origins.
You will also discover the Amalfi Coast where, suspended between sky and sea, typical small villages offer sublime landscapes that have been listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
You will lastly visit Bonifacio, the jewel of the far south of Corsica. A veritable fortress sculpted by the wind and the spray, the “sentinel city” will reveal its historical centre and its long-cobbled streets.
