Overview
Vessel Type: Motor Yacht Length: 35 m Passenger Capacity: 16 Built/Refurbished: 2013 Majestic is a pleasurable way to get to know the Galapagos. This first-class, motorized yacht is 35 meters (115 feet) long and is especially designed to sail through these islands. Its common areas and suites have large picture windows to assure you grand vistas of the seascapes as you cruise from destination to destination. Throughout the expedition, you will dine on fine cuisine. At the end of a day of hiking and snorkeling, you can relax chat with your shipmates about your explorations in one of the spacious social areas. Up on the sundeck, you will have the opportunity to relax with a drink from the bar or soak in the Jacuzzi. As the yacht cruises to the next day’s destination, you’ll rest peacefully in one of the nine double cabins equipped with air conditioning and private bathroom with hot water. Majestic offers excellent four-, five- and eight-day itineraries. On hand are certified naturalist guides to answer your questions and nine crewmembers to attend to your needs.

Itinerary



Day 1 - Day 1 - Santa Cruz
You will arrive at Baltra Island in the morning. After passing through immigration and baggage claim, you willbe met by the Majestic staff and transferred to the yacht. You will be shown to your cabin where you willhave some time to settle in before lunch and a welcome briefing.In the afternoon, you will visit “Fausto Llerena” Giant land tortoises breeding center in Puerto Ayora, SantaCruz Island, where giant tortoises are bred in captivity; this is home to tortoises ranging from 3-inches (newhatchlings) to 4-feet long adults. Subspecies of the giant tortoises interact with one another, and many of theolder tortoises are accustomed to humans stretching out their heads for a photo opportunity. The babies arekept until they are about four years-old and strong enough to survive on their own.
Day 2 - Day 2 - Genovesa
In the morning, you will visit El Barranco which is also known as Prince Phillip’s Steps. It is a steep, rockypath that leads up to a high cliff-face. A marvelous view can be appreciated from here. This site is also hometo palo santo vegetation as well as red-footed boobies, short-eared lava owls, Galapagos swallows, andGalapagos doves.In the afternoon, you will visit the white-sand coral beach of Darwin Bay which heads a half mile trail (0,75km)that winds through mangroves filled with land birds. Nazca boobies, red-footed boobies, and swallow-tailedgulls can be spotted here. Further down the path we find tidal pools where sea lions swim playfully. At theend is a spectacular view of a cliff.
Day 3 - Day 3 - Rabida Island & Chinese Hat Islet
In the morning, you will visit Rabida Island (or Jervis) which is one of the most colourful and volcanicallyvaried islands in the archipelago as well as a great snorkeling site. We will start on Rabida’s famous maroonsandy beach, and after an easy hike, you will arrive to a stunning lookout to enjoy the amazing landscapes.The island is a birdwatcher’s delight. Some of the rarest species are in abundance such as nine varieties offinches, large-billed flycatchers, Galapagos hawks and brown pelicans.In the afternoon, you will visit Chinese Hat Islet. This small islet is located near the southeast coast ofSantiago Island. Its name comes from the distinct shape of the islet’s summit. This small islet is a greatlocation to view many geological formations such as lava tubes and lava flows. Some of the lava flows wereformed underwater and subsequently raised above sea level. The presence of coral heads on the lava flowindicates this phenomenon.
Day 4 - Day 4 - San Cristobal
In the morning, you will visit Witch Hill. Located on the northern coast, this eroded hill and its surroundingspresent one of the most picturesque beaches in the Galapagos with its white powdery sand and the abundanceof animals. Wildlife includes sea turtles, rays, and various types of booby birds. The clear water provides anexcellent opportunity for enjoying swimming and snorkeling.In the afternoon you will be involved in an excursion to Lobos Island which means “Sea Lion Island.” Thisappropriately named island is ripe with noisy, playful, jolly sea lions who will welcome you to their homewith open, well, fins. This island also offers great snorkeling opportunities as well as the chance to see bluefootedand Nazca boobies.
Day 5 - Day 5 - San Cristobal
In the morning, you will visit the Interpretation Center. This site is part of an environment project. The tourof this center will explore the natural history of the islands including human interaction and conservationefforts. The Museum of Natural History explains the volcanic origin of the archipelago, ocean currents,climate, and the arrival of endemic species. The Human History exhibit chronologically describes significantevents such as discovery and colonization of the islands.

Weather, wildlife breeding, safety concerns, instructions from the Galapagos National Park, specific abilities and interests of passengers as well as operational matters may cause your guide or captain to change the time or nature of visits.
